Description |
A black-and-white aerial photograph of the Findlay Airport, which was taken in 1934. The airport was located at the southeast corner of Lima and Logan avenues (according to page 113 of the 1933 "Findlay City Directory"). This photograph was taken from an angle facing southeast and shows the runway, hangar, and several other buildings. Rummell Air Service, Limited (Ltd.), the forerunner of the Findlay Airport, was organized in the spring of 1928, according to an article in the March 28, 1928, issue of the Findlay "Republican-Courier" newspaper (page 1). It was operated by Earl Rummell and Harry Rummell. |
